It was an exciting May Long Weekend as the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair celebrated its 68th year of world-class Rodeo action and 126th year of family fun entertainment at the Country Fair.
“We were fortunate to have fantastic weather that brought out excited crowds throughout the entire long weekend,” said Shannon Claypool, President of the Cloverdale Rodeo Exhibition Association. “We were especially thrilled with enthusiastic rodeo crowds, that nearly sold out every performance with two back to back sellouts for Sunday and Monday’s events.”
The Country Fair featured the popular third annual Cowboy Cook-Off BBQ competition that brought more than 25 teams from north to south to compete for $10,000 in prize money. The Fair also hosted the world’s top skateboarders for the 3rd annual World Freestyle Round-Up skateboarding competition.
World’s Top Cowboys Compete

In total, more than 21,000 people turned out to see one of North America’s premier pro rodeos during five performances held throughout the four-day event.
The Country Fair attracted long weekend crowds in excess of 86,000 people over the four-day event.
