e-mail spam, etc. Here are some links to good sources of help and information.

Every computer that connects to the Internet should have a firewall.
Comodo is a good one that we use. They have a free version you can download for home use.
- Viruses
- SARC Symantec Antvirus
Research Center is one of the best sources of information about viruses.
They also sell Norton Antivirus.
- Avast and
Avira
both have free versions of their
antivirus software that you can download.
- Spam. No, not the luncheon meat. This refers to all the junk mail that
clutters your Inbox, some of it containing viruses.
- MailWasher
This is a useful tool that allows you to preview your mail and
delete unwanted spam without having to download it.
- Break the Chain
From "The Littlest Firefighter" to "Giant Mutant Cats",
this is a good place to check out all those chain letters you probably get.
- Fraud. The Internet is a goldmine for fraud artists. Learn how to
protect yourself.
